Alma Martinez is the Family & Community Engagement Specialist at ECEP and for Thanksgiving she went above and beyond in order to gather turkey dinner donations for some of our program's most needy families. She has formed wonderful relationships with different community programs who are dedicated to help families. Thanks to this relationship, she was effective in getting turkey donations from Sister Evelyn Mourey Center, Cody's Closet and the Imperial Valley Food Bank. Twelve families benefited from these donations in having a turkey dinner to enjoy this Thanksgiving. Alma manifested her heart of service and leadership by delivering the turkey dinners to each family during her personal vacation time and that makes her EXTRA special as she showed how much she truly cares to serve the families of this community!
