ICOE Gems

Mr. Verdugo is hard-working and strives to ensure his team is heard and supported. His professionalism, expertise, and leadership are crucial to successfully operating ICOE services and programs. On Saturday, August 19, in preparation for Hurricane Hillary, Mr. Verdugo began working to clean out a ditch to help drain hundreds of gallons of pooled rainwater. Realizing more work would be needed, in collaboration with Mr. Alvaro Ramirez, Juan coordinated with the County of Imperial requesting emergency maintenance of the drainage ditch. After coordinating with several programs, Mr. Verdugo oversaw the cleaning of the ditch which allowed the pooled rainwater to drain. We value and commend Mr. Verdugo's service and leadership! Job well done!
