(Rachel Sanchez) On Thursday, November 8th, 2018, 37 science leaders and 5 facilitators from 3 counties were attending the Region 9 Science Community of Practice event at the Ricochet Rec Center in Imperial. One of the facilitators had just made available NGSS cards that he designed for the participants to have and use in their classrooms. At 3:00pm, Rachel was contacted to see if she could make enough copies (on card-stock) for all participants to have by Friday before the end of the training. Rachel immediately organized the production of 1,110 copies and had them at Ricochet by 4:30pm on that Thursday. She and her team did this while the copiers were experiencing problems with ink levels and downtime. When the participants received the copies on Friday, there was a buzz of excitement throughout the venue. This is a great example of being ICOE Amazing!
